Constrictiveness of the World
«اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ ضِيْقِ الدُّنْيَا وَضِيْقِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ.»
"O Allah! I seek protection with you from the constrictiveness of the world, and the constrictiveness of the Day of Judgement."
Science as A Lens to Observe Allah's Creativity
How do we use science to see the beauty in the world? How do we open up the possibility to beauty instead of materialism?
Key quote:
“When you take (a leaf) from a materialistic philosophy, that lens, then any beauty that is there in the world also gets swept under the rug.
The Muslim scientist starts ahead of the non-Muslim one. He or she already knows that there is a wisdom for why everything is created. And because their system is augmented by a holistic approach which includes revelation, this Muslim scientist is actually much further ahead in the game, in the race, than the materialistic scientist.
Emulating the Prophet ﷺ
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ " مَنْ تَشَبَّهَ بِقَوْمٍ فَهُوَ مِنْهُمْ » »
Narrated by Abdullah ibn Umar:
The Prophet ﷺ said: “He who imitates a people is one of them.”
Sunnah and Modern Humanitarianism
What is the difference between the sunnah and Modern Humanitarianism? Does religion build upon Modern Humanitarianism?

«اَللّٰهُمَّ أَعِنِّيْ عَلَىٰ ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ»
“O Allah! Assist me in remembering You, in being grateful to You, and in worshipping You with excellence.”
Righteous Wealth
«نِعمَ المالُ الصَّالحُ للرَّجلِ الصَّالحِ»
"Righteous wealth is splendid for a righteous man!"
